Housing Damages
Damage to an assisted unit can be considered a lease violation.

• If the damage is other than ordinary wear and tear, it must be repaired.
• Damages that are determined to be caused by the participant must be repaired by the participant.
• If the owner repairs the item, the participant may be billed by the owner for the repair.
• Should damages be present at move-out, the participant's housing assistance may be terminated for lease violations.
