Cancer screenings are available for uninsured/under-insured, low income residents at no cost to the resident. Cancer screenings are provided by staff at Doctors Community Hospital. The program also provides education and outreach to residents.

The Cancer Prevention, Education, Screening and Treatment (CPEST) initiative is a program for uninsured/under-insured, low-income residents residing in the County.
The Prince George’s County Advisory Group (CAG) and Cancer Coalition (CC) is a diverse group of individuals and representatives from non-profit, community-based, faith-based, academic, minority organizations, hospitals and local agencies. The CAG/CC group works with the Prince George’s County Health Department to help reduce cancer disparities in the County and to promote cancer prevention and education.
