The Adult Evaluation Review Services (AERS) program evaluates the needs of elderly and chronically ill persons. AERS is staffed by County nurses and social workers and offers several services to Prince George's County residents.
The Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP) gives full health benefits for children up to age 19. MCHP enrollees obtain care from a variety of Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) through the Maryland HealthChoice Program.
The Medical Assistance Personal Care Program (MAPC) Program offers assistance with daily living activities available to frail older adults individuals with chronic diseases or to individuals who are developmentally disabled.
Non-Emergency Transportation services are available for residents who have no other means of getting to their medical appointments. Services are provided for Prince George’s County residents that have valid Medical Assistance cards.
Care for Kids Program provides free healthcare services to uninsured children who live in Prince George’s County.
