The Mental Health Association of Prince George's County
The Mental Health Association of Prince George's County (MHAPGC) is a voluntary, non-profit, citizen's organization that brings together consumers, families, professionals, advocates and concerned people in our County for unified action in all aspects of mental health and mental illness.
Public education efforts of the organization address the increased need for education, information and resources on mental illnesses. Additionally, the organization assists individuals and educates the community in accessing the Maryland mental health system.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI)
NAMI Prince George's County is a not for profit, self help organization searching for a better understanding of mental illness and better techniques to cope with everyday problems. It is an advocacy group working for better services for people with mental illnesses. NAMI Prince George's offers support, understanding, advocacy, encouragement, information and education. Regular support groups and training events are scheduled.

On Our Own (OOO) of Prince George's County
On Our Own is a growing organization for persons who have experienced mental illness. On Our Own is designed to help people share problems, information and opinions as well as to make friends. The organization helps its members develop a network of support. It empowers members to take charge of their lives and to live life to the fullest. A Drop In Center is available as a place to meet friends, share a snack and relax. In addition there are regular organizational meetings.
