Perform routine inspections on the following:

• Nursing homes

• Kitchen and vending areas of: hospitals and miscellaneous institution centers for mentally and/or physically handicapped children; public schools

• Public swimming pools, spas, hot tubs, etc.

Complaints

• Staff follow-up on complaints received concerning any of the above facilities.
  
  • Kitchen and vending areas of hospitals, public schools and miscellaneous institutional centers for mentally and/or physically handicapped children.
  • Public swimming pools, spas and hot tubs that are licensed by the Health Department.*

  *Does not include residential or abandoned pools.
