Investigative Division


Mission Statement
The mission of the Investigative Division is to process and investigate complaints of discrimination through effective use of “in person” client appointments, and by processing these complaints in a timely manner.

Composition of Division & Responsibilities
The Investigative Division of the Human Relations Commission is comprised of Investigators and an Investigative Supervisor. This division is responsible for processing, investigating and rendering a final determination for complaints of discrimination filed with the agency. The Investigative Division processes incoming complaints of discrimination by utilizing legal guidelines for local, state and federal law. This division also makes recommendations to the Investigative Supervisor for the referral of discrimination complaints to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Division for mediation of complaints of discrimination.
