The Prince George’s County Health and Human Services Departments are working hard to reduce violence between intimate partners. If you are a victim of domestic violence or are in fear of your life because of abuse from an intimate partner, dial 911 on your phone. If you are a victim of Domestic Violence, are in a safe place, but would like information about the resources that are available to help you and your children, dial 211 on your phone or contact the Family Crisis Center Hotline at 301-731-1203. We understand that when it comes to intimate partner violence, the entire family is a victim of the violence. Prince George’s County Health and Human Services Departments provide support to victims of intimate partner violence and their families not only during an intimate partner incident response, we also provide supports beyond the crisis. Through the Department of Family Services Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Division, services are provided to women and children who are victims or are at risk of domestic violence through the Safe Passage Emergency Shelter, Family Violence Intervention Clinic, and Children & Youth services.
