Changes to Payment Standards, Admin Plan and ACOP
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CHANGE IN PAYMENT STANDARDS & AMENDMENTS TO THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM (HCV) ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN & PUBLIC HOUSING (PH) ACOP-VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMENS ACT (VAWA) EMERGENCY PLAN
The Housing Authority of Prince George's County (HAPGC) is proposing to amend our current payment standards in order to reduce our payment standards to 100% of the Housing and Urban Development fair market rents. The Housing Authority will also amend chapter 3 of the Housing Choice Voucher administrative plan entitled Emergency VAWA Transfers and the Public Housing ACOP.
The HAPGC public comment period will begin on June 22, 2017 and the HAPGC will continue to receive written comments until July 24, 2017 at 5:00pm. The Public Hearing will be held on July 26, 2017 beginning at 5:00pm and ending at 6:30pm, the location of the hearing is 9200 Basil Court Largo, Maryland 20774 conference room 410.
HCV & PH program is a federally funded, locally administered rental assistance program that helps low-income families with children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities afford decent, safe housing in the private market.
Prince George's County affirmatively promotes equal opportunity and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin in admission or access to benefits in its federally assisted programs and activities.
