This commission serves as the central point of information for the farming community regarding governmental programs affecting agricultural operations.

​Anacostia Watershed Restoration Committee

The Watershed Restoration Committee coordinates and implements restoration projects throughout the watershed.

Beautification / Tree Planting Committee

This group provides for a systematic procedure for the beautification of the streets, roads and public rights-of-way.

Climate Action Commission

The Prince George’s County Council unanimously passed a Council Resolution (CR-007-2020) mandating a Climate Action Commission (CAC) to develop a Climate Action Plan for Prince George’s County. The Department of the Environment (DoE) will Chair the CAC. The County’s Climate Action Plan will occur as a collaborative and inclusive community engagement process with an opportunity for public feedback and participation.

Environmental Justice Commission

The Prince George's County Environmental Justice Commission will study and make recommendations regarding certain environmental justice (EJ) issues and other matters that directly affect communities in the County.

Soil Conservation District

The mission of the Prince George's Soil Conservation District is to protect and promote the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the State and County, and otherwise enhance their living environment, by conserving soil, water, and related resources.
