The Prince George's County Climate Implementation Task Force was formed from the signing of County Executive Angela Alsobrooks' Executive Order NO. 5-2022 on May 6, 2022, setting an emissions reduction goal of 50% below 2005 levels by 2030 and a County-wide goal of achieving carbon-neutrality by 2045. Members of the Task Force, including representation from the Climate Resident Advisory (CRA) group, will advise on strategies and actions to propel the County towards a carbon-neutral and climate-ready future.
