Residential Street Sweeping Program

What is street sweeping and why is our County implementing this service?

The Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) will offer Residential Street Sweeping for the first time in Prince George's County! This exciting new service will reduce litter located in the gutter pans along curbed residential roadways that contribute to litter buildup within the County and potentially lead to pollutants in our ecosystem.
