Human Resources Division

The Human Resources Division is responsible for personnel services, recruitment, hiring, training, staff development, research, accreditation and compliance with Federal, State, and local accreditation standards.

  • Compliance Unit

The Compliance Unit maintains and reviews the official manuals (policies and procedures, post orders, inmate handbook etc.) and oversees facility certification by the Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards and accreditation by the American Correctional Association.

  • Personnel Unit

The Personnel Unit performs the day-to-day personnel services required for a large organization: payroll, time and attendance, performance evaluations, maintaining personnel files, testing processes (entry level and promotional) and as liaison to the county Office of Human Resource Management.

  • Recruitment Unit
