Prince George’s County Holiday Closings for Christmas Day

Prince George's County government offices will close on Monday, December 25, 2023, during the Christmas Day holiday.

The following offices, services, and facilities will be closed or suspended for Christmas Day:

Transportation

The Bus | Status: Not Operating

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), will not operate on Sunday, December 24, 2023 or Monday, December 25, 2023. Regular operation services for TheBus will resume on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

 

Call-A-Bus and PGC Link | Status: Not Operating

Additionally, the County’s Call-A-Bus and PGC Link services, including dialysis transportation, will not operate on Monday, December 25. Regular operation services will resume on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

 

Permitting, Inspections, and Enforcement

Status: Closed

The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections, and Enforcement (DPIE) will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

 

PGC311

Status: Operating Online Only

Also, PGC311 will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, and will return to regular operations on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.  However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at PGC311.com.
