Holiday Waste Collection Schedule

On the following holidays, collections for curbside bulky, regular trash and recycling, food scraps, and yard trim (organics) will not be collected, and facilities will be closed. Collections, including organics, will slide to one day later in the week:

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth Day (observed)
  • Independence Day (observed)
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day (observed)
  • New Year's Day (observed) 

Trash will be collected, and waste collection facilities will be open on the following holidays:

  •  Day After Thanksgiving (County Employees' Appreciation Day)
  • Native American Day
  • Veterans Day (Observed)
  • President's Day

A new holiday waste collection schedule went into effect on July 1, 2024. Residents should adhere to the schedule when placing their items at the curbside for the above-listed holidays.

Service/Pickup Day Update

Some pickup dates have changed due to expanded services. Please use our lookup tool to check if your home is serviced by the County and see your pickup days. Just enter your address for quick information.

Missed Pickup

If your trash or recycling collection was missed, please call 3-1-1 or visit the website to report the issue. We are dedicated to resolving it promptly.

Bulky Trash

You can now include up to 4 bulky trash items or tightly secured bags of more minor items next to your trash for pickup. Bulky trash doesn't include tires, scrap metal, or electronics. Learn more about what is allowed in bulky trash.

New Curbside Pickups

You can now make appointments with us through PGC3 to pick up tires, electronics, scrap metal, and certain appliances. Under "Get Help With," select "Trash & Public Cleanliness."
