About Animal Services Division

Our Mission

To provide for the health and welfare of the County's animal population through enforcement of the Animal Control Ordinance, resolution of animal-related disputes and the promotion of adoptions, licensing, spay/neuter and humane education.

Welcome to the Prince George's County Animal Services Division website. We appreciate your interest in our organization and the animals in our care. We invite you to visit the animals at our state-of-the-art Animal Services Facility and Adoption Center. Lost animals and animals available for adoption can also be viewed through our website.
