Residential Recycling Capture Rates
The Prince George’s County Department of the Environment with technical and funding assistance from The Recycling Partnership (TRP) conducted a residential recycling capture rates study for the County’s unincorporated area, which serves over 180,000 households. The study focused on the County’s curbside recycling program and samples were sorted at the County’s Material Recovery Facility (MRF) from August 23-26, 2022. The result was a comprehensive representation of the County’s recycling composition.
