ADA Accessible and Metered Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available in all lots and garages within Prince George’s County. Only vehicles displaying valid accessible parking tags or placards may park in a space reserved for people with disabilities.

The Americans with Disabilities Act does not prevent payment of parking meter fees by an individual with a disability. Payment is required for all Prince George’s County ADA compliant parking meters.

Once the meter is paid, vehicles displaying valid accessible parking tags or placards may park for up to twice the maximum allowable time shown on the meter (not to exceed four hours).
