Child Advocacy Center
Child abuse can be a scary topic for individuals to discuss. When child abuse affects a family, the fear and anxiety one experiences can be overwhelming. During these times, we know you want to ensure your child is getting the best care and support possible.
The Prince George’s County Child Advocacy Center (PGCCAC) main purpose is to give children an opportunity to tell what happened to them in a child friendly environment. We collaborate with the Prince George's County Police Department, the State's Attorney, and a forensic interviewer so that the child will only have to recount what happened to them once. All parties work together to find out what happened to your child, to hold the offender accountable and to help your family heal.
All services offered by the PGCCAC are of NO cost to you. Our first priority is to make sure your child is safe.
