Prince George's County Among Winners of 2023 100 Best Public Fleet Awards
LARGO, MD – Prince George’s County’s Office of Central Services (OCS) proudly announces the selection of Prince George’s County’s Fleet Operations as an awardee for the 2023 100 Best Public Fleets. Each year, nation-wide government-operated fleets are evaluated and selected for their high performance and management operations. This year, the County’s Fleet Operations advanced and is now ranked #3 among the nation’s top public fleets.
“This is an amazing achievement to not only be recognized but also to take our place as number three in the entire nation. We are proud of our County Fleet as they continue to be a leader in our region on fleet management,” said Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks.
Recently, the County’s Fleet Program placed in the top 50 for Green Fleet operations. NAFA is the nation’s largest fleet membership association with more than 2,000 national fleet members who come from corporations, public safety (law enforcement, fire departments), education (universities and K-12 school systems), governments agencies (federal, state, municipal, provincial), utilities, and any other entity that uses fleet vehicles in its normal conduct of business.
“Our continued advancement in the national rankings reflect our commitment to providing reliable and dependable mobility for the County’s essential and emergency employees ,” said Jonathan Butler, Office of Central Services Director.
