June 2 | 2nd Annual Prince George's County Police Department Pride Walk
Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) hosts its 2nd Annual Pride Walk on June 2 at the National Harbor. This event is a great opportunity to celebrate diversity, promote equality, and connect with others who share the same values. Whether you're a member of the LGBTQ+ community or a proud ally, everyone is welcome to participate in this uplifting walk.
June 6 | Pride Month Community Conversation with Antonio Driver
Join the Prince George’s County Office of Human Rights, the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System for a special Community Conversation with Antonio Driver, the LGBTQ+ Liaison with the County Executive’s Office. Hear from Antonio about his role, plans for Pride, and Prince George’s County's diverse LGBTQ+ community.

June 18 | Solidarity Stories - The Deep
Solidarity Stories is a community-led book discussion, a partnership series between the Prince George's County Office of Human Rights, Mount Rainier Branch Library, and Mixt Food Hall. This month we are discussing The Deep by Rivers Solomon. In 2020, this novella won the Lambda Literary Award for best LGBTQ+ Science Fiction and was nominated for Hugo, Nebula, and Locus awards.
