How Are We Doing?
There is no greater form of recognition or praise for a Public Safety Telecommunicator than to receive a compliment from someone whose life they have touched and made better.
We welcome compliments and comments from the public and public safety community regarding 9-1-1 Center personnel who admirably perform their duties. You are invited to forward your concerns or compliments to Public Safety Communications. You may send an email, a letter or fill out the Feedback Form (PDF) and send it or mail it to the address at the bottom of this page. In all correspondence, please include: your name and contact information along with date, time and location of the incident, the nature of the incident, the impact the employee had, and as much information as possible that you wish to provide.
Prince George’s County Public Safety Communications is committed to providing the highest level of service to our citizens and stakeholders. To that end, an obligation exists to our employees, the public safety agencies that we support, and the citizens of Prince George’s County to investigate all allegations of misconduct or substandard performance. Prince George’s County Public Safety Communications will investigate all complaints to the appropriate disposition.
Complaints should concisely and specifically describe the concern and include the date, time, and circumstances of the contact. Please include a daytime telephone number where you may be reached. All complaints will be thoroughly investigated. Follow-up contact by telephone or email may be necessary to clarify specific issues. Management staff will interview the employee and review all available reports, computer records, and audio recordings. At the conclusion of the investigation, a finding will be determined and you will be informed of the outcome. If appropriate, corrective or disciplinary action will be taken.
