Language Access Compliance Program

The Language Access Compliance Program (LACP) ensures that all people can access County government resources in the language of their preference. All people are entitled to receive excellent information and service from County government bodies and we are committed to ensuring that is provided in any language requested.

Prince George’s County law requires that the County government provides services to all people regardless of language skill or preference. As a result, if you are a county resident, worker, or visitor, you have the right to receive services from County government entities in the language you feel comfortable speaking.   

LACP does this through providing education, oversight, monitoring, and, if necessary, investigation of Prince George’s County Government agencies.
