Risk Management

The Risk Management handles accident, illness, and injury claims.  Risk Management receives and processes medical and other insurance claims to ensure that employees are properly covered for medical costs resulting from workplace injuries. Risk Management monitors affected employees while they are in an altered duty status.  Risk Management is responsible for working with the third-party administrator and the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission to help employees receive proper medical treatment and any compensation for injuries.  Risk Management works with citizens and the third-party administrator to settle property damage and medical claims.
