New Police Facility Boosts Community Safety in Prince George's County

Architectural Drawing of New Police Special Operations Facility

As part of its commitment to local Law Enforcement, Prince George's County has invested in a much needed Special Operations Division facility.  The new state-of-the-art building will serve as the headquarters for the Special Operations Division and it will enable police officers to serve and protect the citizens in a more timely and effective manner.

The Special Operations Division previously operated from an old and outdated building constructed in 1951.  The new cutting-edge facility blends technology, efficiency and security in an ideal environment for training, administration and responding rapidly to emergencies.

This new facility ensures officers have the resources needed to protect and serve our community effectively, making a significant step forward for public safety.
