Don't underestimate extreme heat during the summer months. It can be extremely dangerous, especially when humid conditions are present.
The National Weather Service issues Heat Advisories and Excessive Heat Warnings to help inform the public of extreme heat. Periods of high heat and humidity require extra steps to avoid heat illness and death. Learn how to protect yourself.
Cooling Centers
In the event of extreme heat, Cooling Centers throughout the County will be open for residents to stay cool temporarily.
