Engineering and Project Management

This office implements the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for the Department.

 CIP projects include:

• Replacement of bridges
• Roadway reconstruction
• Green/Complete streets
• Pedestrian safety improvements
• Intersection improvements
• Major pavement and concrete rehabilitation work
• Repair of drainage systems including channels, ponds, and flood control systems

This office also: 

• Manages the County’s street lighting and Neighborhood Traffic Management programs
• Conducts traffic engineering studies
• Reviews signing and pavement markings    
• Oversees the Pavement Restoration Program
