Public Notice #1 ROADWORK IN PROGRESS Mitchellville Road (from Mount Oak Rd to US 301)

**ROADWORK IN PROGRESS** From August 3, 2023 to October 31, 2023 Mitchellville Road (from Mount Oak Rd to US 301) will have roadwork in progress. As part of an increased public pedestrian safety initiative and on-going road rehabilitation program, Prince George’s County DPW&T has initiated roadway improvement work on Mitchellville Road in Bowie, Maryland.

The improvement work comprises of storm drain system improvements, installation of new curb & gutter, new sidewalk, new handicap ramps, repair of existing concrete, and roadway milling and resurfacing. Pedestrians & vehicle traffic are advised to consider using alternative routes during construction.
