Chestnut Avenue Road Closure

The Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) will close the Chestnut Avenue Bridge No. P-0115B located over Newstop Branch on Chestnut Avenue between Chestnut Lane and Fletchertown Road on December 30, 2024. The Temporary closure is needed for the reconstruction of the existing bridge.

The temporary closure will commence on or about December 30, 2024, and shall remain in place for approximately 13 months.
