Overview

The Taxicab Board performs the following duties:

  • Develops examinations to be administered by the department in order to determine eligibility of applicants for licensing
  • Hears appeals of violation notices issued under Subtitle 20 - Taxicabs and Other Vehicles for Hire
  • Hears decisions and actions of the Director to deny, revoke, or suspend any license or certificate required
  • Makes any recommendations to the Directory, County Executive and County Council
