Overview

The Taxicab Board performs the following duties:

Develops examinations to be administered by the department in order to determine eligibility of applicants for licensing
Hears appeals of violation notices issued under Subtitle 20 - Taxicabs and Other Vehicles for Hire
Hears decisions and actions of the Director to deny, revoke, or suspend any license or certificate required
Makes any recommendations to the Directory, County Executive and County Council
