Refrigeration, Heating & A/C Licensing Board
Overview
The licensing board develops and suggests items to the Director that govern the technical aspect of licensing and registering entities in the business of refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and mechanical ventilation. These items include:
- Policies
- Procedures
- Programs
- Regulations
- Standards
Entities
Entities include persons, firms, and corporations engaged within the jurisdiction.
Other Responsibilities
- Approve or disapprove licenses and certify those which are approved to the Director
- Conduct hearings relating to the eligibility, suspension, revocation, or denial of licenses or registration
- Develop and administer examinations to determine the eligibility of applicants for licensing
