Prince George’s County Announces Closings for Juneteenth Holiday
County government offices, except for public safety agencies, will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024,
in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday
LARGO, MD – The following offices, services, and facilities will be closed or suspended on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), will operate as scheduled on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, except for Route 51X. Regular operations of Route51X will resume on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Regular operations of the County’s Call-A-Bus, and PGC Link services, including dialysis transportation, will not operate on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Regular operations of the Call-A-Bus, and PGC Link services will resume on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Regular business hours will resume on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
Also, PGC311 will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and will resume regular operations on Thursday, June 20, 2024, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at PGC311.com.
