Prince George’s County Announces Holiday Closings for Christmas Day
Prince George’s County Government offices and facilities, with the exception of public safety agencies, will close on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, in observance of the Christmas Day holiday
LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of the Environment (DoE) announces the following services and facilities will be closed or suspended on Wednesday, December 25, 2024:

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), will not operate regular service on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Regular operation services for TheBus will resume on Thursday, December 26, 2024. Additionally, the County's Call-A-Bus and PGC Link services, including dialysis transportation, will not operate on Wednesday, December 25. Regular operations will resume on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Regular business hours will resume on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
Also, PGC311 will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and will return to regular operations on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at PGC311.com.
