Largo, MD—Due to the construction of the Area C infill project at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill, 11611 White House Road in Upper Marlboro, the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Site remains closed until further notice. The Area C infill project will provide the County with additional landfill airspace for upcoming and future trash disposal.
During the closure, residents can drop off electronics at the Brown Station Road Residential Convenience Center for recycling. They may also dispose of household hazardous waste and electronics at two upcoming mobile HHW and Electronics Recycling events. Once confirmed, additional dates and locations for events will be posted on our website.
