Applying
Building Permit applications are completed online. Please go to the Momentum Portal and enter the information directly into the County’s Permitting System. If you want to view step-by-step instructions before starting your application, the top of the page has a "Documents" category. To use our online (ePlan) permit review process, select the ePlan Requested by the Applicant option BEFORE you submit your online application.
Requirements
The following are required when applying for an Addition Building Permit:
- Concept Approval Letter
- Site/Plot Plans — Signed and Sealed
- Architectural Drawings — Signed and Sealed
- Structural Drawings — Signed and Sealed
- Electrical Drawings — Signed and Sealed
- Mechanical Drawings — Signed and Sealed
- Landscape Plans — Signed and Sealed
- Sediment Control Plans — Green Stamped Not Required at Time of Submittal
- Type II Tree Conservation Plans, or Exempt Letter
- Storm Drain Plans — Approved Plans Not Required at Time of Submittal
- Site Plan Information Certification Form — Filled out by Civil Engineer
