Permits
NOTICE: Updated DPIE Fees Start February 17th
On 11/12/24, the County Council approved CR-087-2024, increasing DPIE fees. DPIE will implement fee changes beginning 2/17/25 to help fund the issuance of permits and licenses. The new fees will apply to permits applied for on or after 2/17/25. Permits applied for prior to 2/17/25 will be based on the previous fee structure.
Under the new formula, fees will increase 20 percent, with a 10 percent technology fee. The increase means that an applicable fee which now costs $50 will increase to $60, plus a 10% technology fee. The new fees will be posted in the 2025 DPIE Fee Schedule. Visit the Prince George’s County Legislative/Zoning Information System (LZIS) to view CR-087-2024.
