The County offers benefits-eligible employees two pre-tax flexible spending accounts (FSAs) — a Health Care Reimbursement Account and a Dependent Care Assistance Account — administered through Benefits Strategies, LLC

These accounts allow you to pay for eligible, out-of-pocket health and/or dependent care expenses. Every plan year you must designate the amount to be set aside in your FSAs. Employees have the opportunity to rollover up to $550 in unused funds from the previous calendar year. These accounts must be renewed each year during open enrollment for the following plan year. If the enrollment process is not completed, the FSA will be canceled.
