Pre-Employment Screenings

Summary

 

The Office of Human Resources Management Background and Compliance Division conducts pre-employment screenings for various positions within the Prince George's County Government. 

Candidates for employment who have received a conditional offer of employment may be subject to pre-employment screenings including but not limited to background screenings, pre-employment examinations and/or drug and alcohol screenings based on the duties of the job. 

Pre-Employment Background Screenings


 Pre-employment background screenings can include but are not limited to identity, employment, and education verifications as well as criminal history and credit checks. 

Pre-Employment Medical Screenings

 

Candidates for certain positions are subject to pre-employment medical screenings that may consist of a medical history review, physical examination, and/or drug and alcohol screening.
