Food Service Requirements
Our team at the Environmental Health/Disease Control Division provides various services through the Food Protection Program to make sure that the food served in your community is safe.
Here's what we do:
- We conduct routine inspections for different types of places that handle food, such as restaurants, grocery stores, catering facilities, theaters, stadiums, schools, prisons, shelters, and programs that serve meals to seniors.
- We also inspect temporary or seasonal food operations, including vending spots, carnivals, fairs, festivals, and farmers' markets.
- Our inspections cover mobile food service facilities, making sure they meet the necessary standards for cleanliness and safety.
- Permanent Food service facilities.
