Prince George's County Health Department Unveils New Logo

New logo symbolizes a renewed commitment to health equity, disease prevention, and the overall well-being of all residents

LARGO, MD – The Prince George's County Health Department is excited to announce the launch of its new logo, which reflects its ongoing dedication to promoting and protecting the health and well-being of all Prince Georgians. The unveiling of this new logo marks an important milestone in the Department's efforts to enhance its identity and engage more effectively with the public.

"We are thrilled to introduce our new logo, which captures the essence of our vision and mission," says Dr. Matthew Levy, Health Officer for the Prince George’s County Health Department. "This logo is more than just a visual representation; it's a symbol of our commitment to the health and well-being of every resident in our community."

Vision: All Prince Georgians are their healthiest at every age and every stage.

Mission: To lead, engage, and empower our community to work collaboratively towards disease prevention, health equity, and total well-being.

The design process included feedback to ensure the logo resonates with the County’s diverse population. The Health Department is confident that the new logo will enhance its visibility and foster a stronger connection with the community.

As part of the rebranding, the Health Department is also introducing new wraps on County vehicles, which will be seen throughout the community. These vehicle wraps showcase the new logo and branding, serving as a mobile reminder of its presence and commitment to the community's health. Residents are encouraged to look out for these newly wrapped vehicles as they travel through the County, providing essential services and support.
