Special Event Expedited Review Fee
On May 30, 2023, the Prince George’s County Council adopted the Special Event Expedited Review Fee via Resolution (CR-15-2023) to cover expedited plan reviews and inspections for the issuance of Special Event Temporary Use and Occupancy Permit applications. Effective October 1, 2023, the Special Event Expedited Review Fee will be assessed. The fees and charges are designated in the DPIE Fee Schedule. The Fees are as follows:

Special Event Expedited Review Fee — Application filed and accepted 15 business days prior to the event | $350 for more than 10 structures (tents, stages, inflatables) and more than 500 expected attendees. | 5% of $350 = $17.50 |
Special Event Expedited Review Fee — Application filed and accepted 10 business days prior to the event | $450 for up to 10 structures (tents, stages, inflatables) and no more than 500 expected attendees. | 5% of $450 = $22.50 |
Special Event Expedited Review Fee — Application filed and accepted 10 business days prior to the event | $550 for more than 10 structures (tents, stages, inflatables) and more than 500 expected attendees. | 5% of $550 = $27.50 |
Special Event Expedited Review Fee — Application filed and accepted 5 business days prior to the event | $650 | 5% of $650 = $32.50 |
Special Event Expedited Review Fee — Application filed and accepted 3 business days prior to the event | $1,000 | 5% of $1,000 = $50.00 |
Special Event Expedited Review Fee — Application filed and accepted 1 business day prior to the event | $1,000 plus the costs of County overtime and contracted inspection services | 5% of $1,000 = $50.00 |
